2006 Chevrolet Silverado
Mileage211,049Service Date4/13/2026Services Performed- Customer complaint of rough idle condition misfire present. With scan tool scanned powertrain for codes. Lots of o2 sensor codes and misfire using scan tool monitored misfires and misfire present on number 5. Checked for spark on number 5. Spark jumped 30kv with clean blue spark. Removed spark plug and swapped with number one. Misfire did not move. Disconnected injector harness to check for injector pulse with a noid light. Noodling illuminates. Checked for continuity on the injector side of the connector. Number 5 injector shows to have an open circuit. Needs injector assembly & fuel filter replaced. Recommend replacing all 6 as a unit.

2021 GMC Yukon XL
Mileage98,436Service Date4/7/2026Services Performed- Can confirm ac is not cold. Scanned vehicle to get data on line pressures. Ac pressures show about 130 hi side while running. This indicates either a failed expansion valve or low refrigerant. Removed driver side front wheel and fender liner to gain access to the front ac drain. Black lighted the front ac drain nothing found. Evacuated ac system to get an idea on how much refrigerant is in the system. Recovered 160 grams of 1.00 kg system. System is extremely low. Black lighted the whole system including the ac condenser. Nothing found. Pressurized the system and sprayed it down with soapy water. Nothing found. Side note. System held pressure for more than a half hour. After pressure held for more than 45 minutes decided to pull a vacuum on the system. Vacuum test passed. Decided to recharge ac system with dye oil added. During recharge ac machine will add a small amount of refrigerant to the system then run a sniffer test into the vents for the evaporator core test. The front test passed however the rear evaporator core indicated presence of refrigerant. Needs a rear evaporator core 860 grams of refrigerant, 2 cans of cleaner 2 oz's Tracer die. NORMAL INSPECTION: OIL- 63%, due at 100,669 BRAKE FLUID- Good TRANSMISSION FLUID- Due for service due to mileage. (if not already done at 80k) POWER STEERING – Electronic DRIVE BELT – Good HOSES – Good COOLANT – Tests at -20 f. Recommend flushing cooling system & putting new Antifreeze. BATTERY – Good TERMINALS – Clean. Recommend battery pads to be installed if battery or cable ends are ever serviced.

2013 Hyundai Tucson
Mileage230,062Service Date3/24/2026Services Performed- Visually inspected for leaks. Verify there is no leaks coming from the top down. Only wet area is seam of the bottom of the transmission. On a scale of 1 to 10. 1 being no leak and 10 being a colander. Leak is about a 6. Recommend replacing transmission.
- Removed air filter box, battery and battery tray. Removed shifter cable, ground wires, connectors and all attached items from the transmission. Removed bell housing bolts torque converter bolts and removed transmission. Replaced transmission with salvage yard unit. Added 6 qts of SpIV and a can of BG ATC. transmission fluid allowed to reach operating temperature and verified fluid is full. Cleared all the codes and Test drove vehicle. One code returned. WSS left front Wheel speed sensor has an open circuit. Need to diagnose left front wheel speed sensor.

THE ELECTRODE WAS MISSING FROM THE SPARK PLUG. I USED A BORE SCOPE TO LOOK INTO THE CYLINDER. (see pictures in mpi) I CAN SEE A PART OF THE VALVE IS MISSING. THERE IS SOMETHING ON TOP OF THE PISTON. LOOKS LIKE IT IS PART OF THE ELECTRODE OR THE VALVE

WHEN I HAD THE AIR BOX OFF I FOUND THAT THE AIR FILTER WAS VERY DIRTY. I REPLACED IT. I LIFTED THE VEHICLE AND CK FOR LEAKS. I FOUND THAT THE SEAL ON THE TRANSMISSION BETWEEN IT AND THE TRANSFER CASE IS LEAKING. I REMOVED THE INSPECTION COVER AND CK TO SEE IF THE PUMP SEAL IN THE TRANSMISSION WAS LEAKING BUT IT WAS DRY. THE TRANSFER CASE SEAL NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AND THE INPUT SEAL NEEDS REPLACED. THE OUT PUT SEAL IN THE TRANSMISSION TO THE TRANSFER CASE ALSO NEEDS REPLACED. THE TRANSMISSION NEEDS SERVICED.

2006 Lincoln Mark LT
Mileage159,290Service Date2/17/2026Services Performed- Oil leak is coming from the oil filter housing gasket. Will need an oil change and coolant. No oil on dipstick. Had to remove passenger door panel to verify power and grounds to the door lock actuator. Checked for power and grounds when commanded power and grounds are present. No audible click from the passenger front door lock actuator either. Passenger door needs a door lock actuator. Checked for ac function. Ac compressor does not engage when commanded. Attached ac recovery machine to check for line pressure. No pressure in system. Tried to recover ac system. No refrigerant in ac system. Set machine to pull a ten minute vacuum. Let ac system set for 30 minutes. AC system did not loose any vacuum. Re-charge ac system with 2.11lbs of R-134a Freon. AC system is now blowing cold. Will need the customer to bring vehicle back to have the system black lighted.

- SCANNED VEHICLE. P0461 FUEL LEVEL SENSOR PERFORMANCE/RATIONALITY. THE FUEL GAUGE SHOWS ALMOST 1/2 A TANK. I CK SPARK. GOOD 30 KV SPARK. I CK FUEL PRESSURE, 0 PSI. I LIFTED THE VEHICLE AND CK POWER AND GROUND TO THE FUEL PUMP. THEY BOTH SHOW TO BE GOOD. I TAPED ON THE FUEL TANK AND IT SOUNDS EMPTY. MONITOR BCM DATA WITH SCANNER. I UNPLUGGED THE FUEL SENDER ASSEMBLY. THE VOLTAGE ON THE FUEL LEVEL WENT FROM 4 VOLTS TO 10.8 VOLTS. I GROUNDED THE DB/WH WIRE AND THE VOLTAGE WENT TO 0 VOLTS. I CK THE BK/DB FOR A GOOD GROUND. IT SHOWS TO BE GOOD. I USED THE SCANNER AND CK THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER. THE FUEL GAUGE SHOWS TO BE OPERATING PROPERLY. THIS SHOWS THE FUEL SENDER IS BAD. I PUT 5 GALLONS OF FUEL IN THE VEHICLE. THE ENGINE STARTED AND RAN FOR ABOUT A MINUTE AND THEN DIED. THE ENGINE WILL NOT RE-START. I NOTICED MY FUEL PRESSURE GAUGE IS READING 0 psi AGAIN. REMOVE FUEL CAP TO LISTEN TO THE FUEL PUMP. I CANNOT HEAR THE FUEL PUMP RUNNING. RE-CHECK POWER & GROUNDS AT THE FUEL PUMP. POWER & GROUNDS STILL CK GOOD. THE FUEL PUMP NEEDS TO BE REPLACED.

I CAN TURN THE ENGINE OVER BY HAND AND IT IS CLANKING IN THE BELL HOUSING. I REMOVED THE BATTERY. BOTH CABLES WAS LOSE. I REMOVED THE STARTER, IT HAS SOME OIL ON IT. ONE OF THE BELL HOUSING BOLTS IS MISSING AND ANOTHER HAD BACKED OUT. I TIGHTENED THE BOLT AND FOUND A BOLT FOR THE ONE MISSING. I CK THE TORQUE CONVERTER BOLTS AND THEY ARE LOSE. ONE OF THE THREE BOLTS WAS MISSING. I USED A VIDEO SCOPED AND LOOKED IN THE BELL HOUSING FOR THE OTHER BOLT. I DID NOT FIND IT. I CK THE FLYWHEEL FOR CRANKS. I DID NOT FIND ANY. I FOUND A TORQUE CONVERTER BOLT AND INSTALLED IT. I TIGHTENED THEM ALL UP AND PUT THE STARTER BACK ON. I STARTED THE ENGINE AND THE NOISE IS GONE. I NEVER FOUND THE 3RD TORQUE CONVERTER BOLT IN THE BELL HOUSING. STARTER ASSEMBLY – R&R – 1.4L Eng, Turbocharger
