Services Performed
- Visually inspected for leaks. Verify there is no leaks coming from the top down. Only wet area is seam of the bottom of the transmission. On a scale of 1 to 10. 1 being no leak and 10 being a colander. Leak is about a 6. Recommend replacing transmission.
- Removed air filter box, battery and battery tray. Removed shifter cable, ground wires, connectors and all attached items from the transmission. Removed bell housing bolts torque converter bolts and removed transmission. Replaced transmission with salvage yard unit. Added 6 qts of SpIV and a can of BG ATC. transmission fluid allowed to reach operating temperature and verified fluid is full. Cleared all the codes and Test drove vehicle. One code returned. WSS left front Wheel speed sensor has an open circuit. Need to diagnose left front wheel speed sensor.
