Services Performed
- Can confirm ac is not cold. Scanned vehicle to get data on line pressures. Ac pressures show about 130 hi side while running. This indicates either a failed expansion valve or low refrigerant. Removed driver side front wheel and fender liner to gain access to the front ac drain. Black lighted the front ac drain nothing found. Evacuated ac system to get an idea on how much refrigerant is in the system. Recovered 160 grams of 1.00 kg system. System is extremely low. Black lighted the whole system including the ac condenser. Nothing found. Pressurized the system and sprayed it down with soapy water. Nothing found. Side note. System held pressure for more than a half hour. After pressure held for more than 45 minutes decided to pull a vacuum on the system. Vacuum test passed. Decided to recharge ac system with dye oil added. During recharge ac machine will add a small amount of refrigerant to the system then run a sniffer test into the vents for the evaporator core test. The front test passed however the rear evaporator core indicated presence of refrigerant. Needs a rear evaporator core 860 grams of refrigerant, 2 cans of cleaner 2 oz's Tracer die.
